Vocational Training In Special Home
The VJA is conducting vocational training in the juvenile special home for boys, in contract with law Department of WCD Govt. of NCT Delhi, thereby providing an opportunity for rehabilition of these most vulnerable children of our society. So far two children have been released from the special home having completed the vocational training of cutting tailoring and mechanical repairing is now gainfully employed in making mobile phone located in Majnoo ka Tilla, Delhi. The VJA is looking forward to work in collaboration with the Central Social Welfare board to implement its various projects for the welfare of the economically and socially deprived sections of the society.
Teach India Program (English Spoken Program)
The Times Group launched a project “Teach India” as ab initiative to teach spoken English to the youth belonging to the underivileged sections of the urban society. British council has been braught on board for designing the curriculam and for the training the voluntears and teachers who will be imparting the curriculam to the learners. The curriculam for the course has been designed keeping in mind the present language levels of the target segment and the spoken English requirments of potential employersOn completion of the course, the learners get certificate which is jointly certified by both The Times Group and British Council.
